Whilst I was praying in the early hours of the morning today, I asked the Holy Spirit the title of the message He would want me to deliver to you His saints today. He said I should talk to you about the healing, deliverance and restorative power of the Lord Jesus Christ through partaking in the Holy Communion regularly and how to appropriate the benefit of partaking in it in your life. Also, we will run through activation prayers for the specific area you want that benefit applied and much more.
So in obedience to His leading, hereunder is the message on Activating 5 (Five) Supernatural Healing, Deliverance and Restorative Power of the Lord Jesus Christ through Partaking in the Holy Communion Habitually – Can God Heal COVID 19?
The Holy Communion is not a religious ritual as some of us have become accustomed to but a solemn act of re-enacting the new covenant (agreement) benefits every time we partake of it in our life experiences and journey as ambassadors of Christ here on earth. We bring to our experiences as it were, through reminding ourselves of what Jesus did and activating and appropriating ALL the benefit of what Jesus died to provide for us the saints, such as reconciliation, justification, adoption, glorification, healing – Spirit, Soul and Body, deliverance, restoration, etc. All of these can be activated by faith and faith alone whilst we partake of the Holy Communion in fellowship or in our private secret place space with Him.
Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God with the Holy Spirit providing enlightenment, understanding and you having a tangible expectation of the completed work of Christ more than two thousand years ago and applying that tangible expectation in your specific situation and circumstances where you need the finished work to come through for you – read..
Hebrews 11:1-3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the [a]men of old gained [divine] approval.3 By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
When we take the communion, we take the life of Christ into our mortal bodies. Our mortal bodies come alive because we have brought ourselves to remembrance through active – Hebrews 11:1-3, not passive faith. Read…
Romans 8:11,17 Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. 17 And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.
We will now go through scripture by scripture to give illumination and corresponding activation prayers so you can apply to your circumstances and situation as situation demands – In your own space – the secret place with the Lord, home, office, outdoor, church, at your time and prompting that you have a need of bringing yourself or bringing God to remembrance.
1) Jesus explains that His body is the bread of life that gives life
Let’s look at John 6:32-35 and John 6:47-58 with comments and activation prayers:
John 6:32-35 Amplified Bible (AMP)
32 Then Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true [a]bread out of heaven. 33 For the Bread of God is He who comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”35 Jesus replied to them, “[b]I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually].
John 6:47-58 Amplified Bible (AMP)
47 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who believes [in Me as Savior—whoever adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me—already] has eternal life [that is, now possesses it]. 48 I am the Bread of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life]. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the Bread that comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the Living Bread that came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior], he will live forever. And the Bread that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).”52 Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 And Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you believe in Me as Savior and believe in the saving power of My blood which will be shed for you], you do not have life in yourselves. 54 The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior] has eternal life [that is, now possesses it], and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true [spiritual] food, and My blood is true [spiritual] drink. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior] remains in Me, and I [in the same way remain] in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, even so the one who feeds on Me [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior] will also live because of Me. 58 This is the Bread which came down out of heaven. It is not like [the manna that] our fathers ate and they [eventually] died; the one who eats this Bread [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior] will live forever.”
Comment and activation prayers:
From the above scriptures, we see that the body of Jesus Christ gives life to you when you partake of it. This is what you do when you partake in the Holy Communion. This is what you get when you eat His body and drink His blood. It is a spiritual food and a spiritual drink which sustains you and me spiritually. Not just now but for all eternity.
Activation prayers:
Father, Lord Jesus Christ, and dear Holy Spirit in me, I acknowledge You all in me today and always because I am Your son (daughter). As I eat Your body and drink Your blood today in partaking in this communion, I bring myself to remembrance now of the finished work of Jesus Christ more than 2000 years ago and I bring You all to remembrance today because You are covenant (agreement) keeping God. I am in right standing with You as I am now cleansed of every sin in me by Your precious blood, repenting and returning to the path that You have marked out for me according to 1 Corinthians 11: 27-32. I now re-enact and enforce that new covenant (agreement) today. Your body is life and your blood is life. I now reactivate Your life in my life now. Spirit of the living God, cause the life of Jesus Christ to be reactivated in my spirit, soul, and body afresh. Anything in me that has not been planted by my heavenly Father (name those things that you need His touch, requiring divine re-alignment), I command you to be removed or die to your roots now in Jesus’ name, Amen. The very life of Jesus Christ flows through me, in me now and around me now. Thank You for hearing and answering me as I see and experience the manifestation of the life of Jesus in me, through me and around me today in Jesus name, Amen.
2) Jesus institutes the Holy Communion (Lord’s Supper) as a remembrance of the new and better covenant (agreement)
Luke 22:14-20 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 When the hour [for the meal] had come, Jesus reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. 15 He said to them, “I have earnestly wanted to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 And when He had taken a cup and [a]given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 And when He had taken bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood.
Acts 2:46-47 Amplified Bible (AMP)
46 Day after day they met in the temple [area] continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various private homes. They were eating their meals together with joy and generous hearts, 47 praising God continually, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were being saved.
Comments and activation:
Jesus told us to always take communion in remembrance of Him. What does this mean? It means there is a tendency to forget the weight of what Jesus did and we might take it for granted. You can be sure Jesus will not forget. We will certainly forget. But when we take the communion, we are suddenly reminded of what He did and we can easily appropriate that in our experience. We see also in the early church that it was a continuous process as they were breaking bread in their homes as well and the Lord added to their numbers those who were been saved.
Activation prayers:
Lord Jesus, I commit to always remember what price You paid to redeem me and how important it is for me to always ensure I am living a life that honors and glorifies Your name. As I partake in this communion today with You, help me to make this a habitual process that does not depend on external circumstances only but triggered by my love for You. Apart from remembrance, I promise to invoke all the benefit of Your death to my specific circumstance and situation so that I can live a life that is full of rest, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost that comes only from the assurance of Your abiding presence in me. I now activate a habitual communion fellowship with You in season and out of season in Jesus name, Amen
3) Jesus Opens the eyes of His disciples after a Holy Communion
Luke 24:29-31 Amplified Bible (AMP)
29 But they urged Him [not to go on], saying, “Stay with us, because it is almost evening, and the day has just about ended.” So He went inside to stay with them. 30 And it happened that as He reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. 31 Then their eyes were [suddenly] opened [by God] and they [clearly] recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.
Comment and Activation
We see in Luke’s accounts that after Jesus Christ’s resurrection, very quickly they disciples could not recognize Him despite walking and talking with them over a long journey. It is shocking to see that they remembered only when He broke the break – the first communion after the resurrection.
Activation Prayers:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, as I partake of the communion today, open my spiritual sight to see and experience You in my daily work and walk with You. Open my spiritual eyes to see and receive what You have freely given unto me, Lord God. Open my spiritual eyes that I might run the race that you have set before me. I now activate spiritual sensitivity to the things and workings of the Holy Spirit in me and around me in Jesus name, amen
4) Jesus appears to His disciples but they could not recognize him.. the only after..
John 21:1-14
After this Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias (Galilee). And He did it in this way: 2 Simon Peter, and Thomas who is called Didymus (the twin), and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, as well as [John and James] the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said, “And we are coming with you.” So they went out and got into the boat; and [a]that night they caught nothing.4 As morning was breaking, Jesus [came and] stood on the beach; however, the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 So Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish [to eat along with your bread]?” They answered, “No.” 6 And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat (starboard) and you will find some.” So they cast the net, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great catch of fish. 7 Then that disciple (John) whom Jesus loved (esteemed) said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer tunic (for he was stripped for work) and threw himself into the sea [and swam ashore]. 8 But the other disciples came in the small boat, for they were not far from shore, only about a hundred yards away, dragging the net full of fish.9 So when they got out on the beach, they saw a charcoal fire set up and fish on it cooking, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three [of them]; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared to ask Him, “Who are You?” They knew [without any doubt] that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples, after He had risen from the dead.
Comments and activation:
It is amazing again to see in the story above that Jesus stood at the beach, someone they had spent 3 years together with. Yet, they could not recognize Him until He asked that they could come to have bread with Him, a symbol of communion. We could see here also that what they were struggling to get appeared only when they recognized Him
Activation prayers:
Lord Jesus, I have tried so many pursuits without joy, fulfillment and rest. I do not experience all-round success in my life. Lord Jesus, as I partake of the communion with You today, cause me to have all-round success in the specific area You have marked out for me to be successful. Move-in supernatural ways by the power of the Holy Spirit in me and unlock the doors that have been locked against me. Cause me to prosper in spirit, soul and body today and always. Lord God, as a result of remembering to dine with You and recalling all that You died to give me for Your glory. I now activate all-round success in the area of my call to the glory of Your name, Amen
5) Jesus Christ – The suffering Servant in Isaiah 53 received stripes in His body and by those stripes, you were healed – Spirit, Soul and body as you partake of His body
Isaiah 53:1-12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Who has believed [confidently trusted in, relied on, and adhered to] our message [of salvation]?And to whom [if not us] has the arm and infinite power of the Lord been revealed?2 For He [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender shoot (plant),And like a root out of dry ground;
He has no stately form or majestic splendor That we would look at Him,
Nor [handsome] appearance that we would [a]be attracted to Him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and pain and acquainted with grief; And like One from whom men hide their faces
He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or esteem Him.4
But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, And He has carried our sorrows and pains; Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];The punishment required for our well-being fell on Him,And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
6 All of us like sheep have gone astray,We have turned, each one, to his own way;But the Lord has caused the wickedness of us all [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]To fall on Him [instead of us].7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,Yet He did not open His mouth [to complain or defend Himself];
Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,And like a sheep that is silent before her shearers,So He did not open His mouth.
8 [b]After oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And [c]as for His generation [His contemporaries], who [among them] concerned himself with the fact That He was cut off from the land of the living [by His death]For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke [of death] was due?
9 His grave was assigned with the wicked,But He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence,Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.10 Yet the Lord was [d]willingTo crush Him, [e]causing Him to suffer;
If [f]He would give Himself as a guilt offering an atonement for sin,He shall see His [spiritual] offspring,He shall prolong His days, And the will (good pleasure) of the Lord shall succeed and prosper in His hand.11 As a result of the [g]anguish of His soul,He shall see it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge [of what He has accomplished] the Righteous One,
My Servant, shall justify the many [making them righteous—upright before God, in right standing with Him],For He shall bear [the responsibility for] their sins.12 Therefore, I will divide and give Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers],And He shall divide the spoils with the mighty,
Because He [willingly] poured out His life to death,
And was counted among the transgressors;Yet He Himself bore and took away the sin of many,
And interceded [with the Father] for the transgressors.
Matthew 27:24-26 Amplified Bible (AMP)
24 So when Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but rather that a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands [to ceremonially cleanse himself of guilt] in the presence of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this righteous Man’s blood; see to that yourselves.” 25 And all the people answered, “Let [the responsibility for] His blood be on us and on our children!” 26 So he set Barabbas free for them; but after having Jesus severely whipped (scourged), he handed Him over to be crucified.
Comment and activation:
Jesus – The suffering servant took 39 stripes in His body to bring healing to the nations. The Romans usually give 39 stripes. Each of the stripes represents a healing need in your body. As you partake of the Holy Communion, by taking the body of Jesus, you are effectively receiving treatment for your sicknesses and diseases. It does not matter if it is in your spirit, your soul or your body. He has you covered if you reach out in faith. You need to reach out and partake with the eye and the heart of faith to appropriate this in Your circumstance and situation.
Activation prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, through prophet Isaiah, You made it known well in advance – 400 years prior that You are bringing healing to the nations because of the sacrificial death that was to happen. You had me in mind when you brought this prophecy to mankind. In concluding, i urge you to have a perspective of Jesus that is beyond the cross. He is the resurrected Christ. Until You see Him in power, it will be difficult for you to draw from the enormous power and authority He died to provide you. A picture that helps me see the magnificence of Jesus is in Revelation 1: 9-19..reads
Revelation 1:9-19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 I, John, your brother and companion in the [a]tribulation and kingdom and patient endurance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos, [exiled there] because of [my preaching of] the word of God [regarding eternal salvation] and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the [b]Spirit [in special communication with the Holy Spirit and empowered to receive and record the revelation from Jesus Christ] on the [c]Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, 11 saying, “Write on a scroll what you see [in this revelation], and send it to the [d]seven churches—to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And after turning I saw seven golden lampstands; 13 and in the midst of the lampstands I saw someone [e]like the Son of Man, dressed in a robe reaching to His feet, and with a golden sash wrapped around His chest. 14 His head and His hair were white like white wool, [glistening white] like snow; and His [all-seeing] eyes were [flashing] like a flame of fire [piercing into my being]. 15 His feet were like burnished [white-hot] bronze, refined in a furnace, and His voice was [powerful] like the sound of many waters. 16 In His right hand He held seven stars, and from His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword [of judgment]; and His face [reflecting His majesty and the [f]Shekinah glory] was like the sun shining in all its power [at midday]. 17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. And He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last absolute Deity, the Son of God, 18 and the Ever-living One . I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead). 19 So write the things [g]which you have seen [in the vision], and the things [h]which are [now happening], and the things [i]which will take place after these things.
Read verses 14 to 18 above again, meditate on it – He says He is the ever-living one, true he died but lives forevermore…keep that picture in your mind as you partake in the communion.
Prayer:
So, Lord Jesus Christ, open our spiritual eyes to see You in glory, splendor, authority, and power like never before. Open our eyes to acknowledge and appreciate Your presence inside of us with the Father by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in us so that we will continually have faith to lay claim to that which You died to give us both now and for all eternity in name of Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that as many as would heed this command to remember regularly to dine with You by partaking in the Holy Communion at home, in fellowships or wherever they are prompted to dine with You, cause the full weight of Your power, Your wisdom, Your glory, Your blessings, Your honor, Your strength, Your riches as written according to Revelation 5:12-14; Psalm 8:4-9 and John 17:22-26 to be activated in them continually in Jesus mighty name I have prayed, Amen and Amen
