Quote on the secret place instructions and insights in the field of life:

The futility of Putting God in the Box of our Limited Minds: In the last 3 + years of our work and walk with the Lord, we have finally come to a level of understanding that we cannot box Him and we have highly rated and appreciated the troubles that He had allowed us to experience which has become the bedrock of our ability to be relevant to the people that He brings our way – How invaluable those fiery and painful experiences have become of which no amount of human physical resource can procure – It has become a spiritual experience for a spiritual greater good – Too many hurting people around us, how can you be relevant without the fire? – 2 Corinthians 1:4; Mark 9:49 – Monday Ogwuojo Ogbe – Otakada.org

Let this encourage those of you who belong to Christ: the storm may be tempestuous, but it is only temporary. The clouds that are temporarily rolling over your head will pass, and then you will have fair weather, an eternal sunshine of glory. Can you not watch with Christ for one hour?” ~ Williams Gurnall

“We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.” ~ Martin Luther King

“Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.” ~ Robert Schuller

“Difficult times show true colors, hard times reveal true friends, and the good will be blessed through the pain…Just let go and let God!” ~ Unknown

“We must never despair; our situation has been compromising before, and it has changed for the better; so I trust it will again. If difficulties arise, we must put forth new exertion and proportion our efforts to the exigencies of the times” ~ George Washington

“Our vision is so limited we can hardly imagine a love that does not show itself in protection from suffering…. The love of God did not protect His own Son…. He will not necessarily protect us – not from anything it takes to make us like His Son. A lot of hammering and chiseling and purifying by fire will have to go into the process.” ~ Elisabeth Elliot

Battles are fought in our minds every day. When we begin to feel the battle is just too difficult and want to give up, we must choose to resist negative thoughts and be determined to rise above our problems. We must decide that we’re not going to quit. When we’re bombarded with doubts and fears, we must take a stand and say: ‘I’ll never give up! God’s on my side. He loves me, and He’s helping me! I’m going to make it!’ ~ Joyce Meyer

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” ~ James 1:2-4

“Look for the Good from the BadWhoever is spared personal pain must feel himself called to help in diminishing the pain of others. We must all carry our share of the misery which lies upon the world.” ~ Albert Schweitzer

“I would go to the deeps a hundred times to cheer a downcast spirit. It is good for me to have been afflicted, that I might know how to speak a word in season to one that is weary.” ~ Charles Spurgeon

“God knows our situation; He will not judge us as if we had no difficulties to overcome. What matters is the sincerity and perseverance of our will to overcome them.” ~ C.S. Lewis

“Draw Near to God – The whole world appears to me like a huge vacuum, a vast empty space, whence nothing desirable, or at least satisfactory, can possibly be derived; and I long daily to die more and more to it; even though I obtain not that comfort from spiritual things which I earnestly desire.” ~ David Brainerd

“Christians are like the several flowers in a garden that have each of them the dew of heaven, which, being shaken with the wind, they let fall at each other’s roots, whereby they are jointly nourished, and become nourishers of each other.” ~ John Bunyon

“Nothing but encouragement can come to us as we dwell upon the faithful dealing of our Heavenly Father in centuries gone by. Faith in God has not saved people from hardships and trials, but it has enabled them to bear tribulations courageously and to emerge victoriously.” ~ Lee Robertson

“Let us hear what the Bible says and what we as Christians are called to hear together: By grace you have been saved.” ~ Karl Barth

“Every morning, read seriously and reverently a portion of the Holy Scriptures, and acquaint yourselves with the history and doctrine thereof. It is a book full of light and wisdom, will make you wise to eternal life, and furnish you with directions and principles to guide and order your life safely and prudently” ~ Matthew Hale

“The Bible is God’s chart for you to steer by, to keep you from the bottom of the sea, and to show you where the harbor is, and how to reach it without running on rocks or bars.” ~ Henry Ward Beecher

“I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me”. ~ Psalms 66:17-20

Ezekiel 39:23-24 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

23 And the nations shall know, understand, and realize positively that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against Me; and I hid My face from them. Brethren, last Sunday, we discussed the fact that the secret place transcends the limited time and space in our earthly realm for our life in Christ is a continues secret place experience for in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts17:28). So, what we experience in this limited earthly realm of ours is actually the outworking of the secret place experience – That is, if we are keyed in to Him, it does not matter where, when or how.

When we live our earthly experience in the continuous consciousness of the living God inside of us, it changes the whole dynamics of our existence. We shift at the “speed of thought” as it were, from realm to realm just by our thinking and our thinking compels us to faith action or fear action and we know who rules in those realms – The kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. There is no relaxation point in-between these two realms.

I give two quick and sharp example to elaborate on these two realm dynamics. Read these texts and make sure you are reading this with your thought process focused on Jesus – Not on you or something else but Jesus – Imagine Him beside you and ask Him to give you clarity and the hidden truth in it – Put aside what you understood before now concerning these texts and I can guarantee you that rhema will flood your spirit instantaneously:

Let’s go on NOW by engaging your mind fully on Jesus – He is right there beside you – He never left you – We continually drop in and out through our thinking and what is in the focus of our attention at that very moment:-

First Scripture: Mark 8:27-38 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

27 And Jesus went on with His disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way He asked His disciples, Who do people say that I am?

28 And they answered [Him ], John the Baptist; and others [say ], Elijah; but others, one of the prophets.

29 And He asked them, But who do you yourselves say that I am? Peter replied to Him, You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

30 And He charged them sharply to tell no one about Him.

31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must of necessity suffer many things and be tested and disapproved and rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be put to death, and after three days rise again [[a]from death ].

32 And He said this freely (frankly, plainly, and explicitly, making it unmistakable). And Peter took Him [b]by the hand and led Him aside and then [facing Him ] began to rebuke Him.

33 But turning around [His back to Peter ] and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind Me, Satan! For you do not have a mind [c]intent on promoting what God wills, but what pleases men [you are not on God’s side, but that of men ].

34 And Jesus called [to Him ] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and [d]lose sight of himself and his own interests ] and take up his cross, and [[e]joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party ] follow [f]with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me ].

35 For whoever wants to save his [[g]higher, spiritual, eternal ] life, will lose it [the [h]lower, natural, temporal life [i]which is lived only on earth ]; and whoever gives up his life [ which is lived only on earth ] for My sake and the Gospel’s will save it [his [j]higher, spiritual life [k]in the eternal kingdom of God ].

36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [[l]in the eternal kingdom of God ]?

37 For what can a man give as an exchange ([m]a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed ] life [[n]in the eternal kingdom of God ]?

38 For whoever [o]is ashamed [here and now ] of Me and My words in this adulterous (unfaithful) and [preeminently ] sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory (splendor and majesty) of His Father with the holy angels.

Did you just see what happened to Peter between verse 29 and 33 and what Jesus did? One minute Peter got by divine revelation the things of the Spirit and the next minute his focus shifted to fleshly lust which granted satan access to Peter. How do we know the realms – kingdoms within which Peter has changed? Jesus rebuke was direct to Satan, not Peter. Peter just provided the enabling environment for the kingdom of darkness and its agenda to flood his spirit.

I also believe the Holy Spirit would have added depth to your understanding of this scripture above relative to where you are sitting right now – He knows, He sees, He senses and He comforts deep within you so open up to Him as healing, deliverance and restoration flows through your spirit, soul and eventually your body.

Let’s turn the search light of our hearts to the next scripture – taking notes as you read along, especially some unusual insights to the scripture below.

Let’s explore the second scripture: Luke 11:14-41 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

14 Now Jesus was driving out a demon that was dumb; and it occurred that when the demon had gone out, the dumb man spoke. And the crowds marveled.

15 But some of them said, He drives out demons [ because He is in league with and] by Beelzebub, the prince of demons,

16 While others, to try and test and tempt Him, demanded a sign of Him from heaven.

17 But He, [ well] aware of their intent and purpose, said to them, Every kingdom split up against itself is doomed and brought to desolation, and so house falls upon house. [ The disunited household will collapse.]

18 And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom last? For you say that I expel demons with the help of and by Beelzebub.

19 Now if I expel demons with the help of and by Beelzebub, with whose help and by whom do your sons drive them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

20 But if I drive out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has [ already] come upon you.

21 When the strong man, fully armed, [[a]from his courtyard ] guards his own dwelling, his belongings are undisturbed [ his property is at peace and is secure ].

22 But when one stronger than he attacks him and conquers him, he robs him of his whole armor on which he had relied and divides up and distributes all his goods as plunder (spoil).

23 He who is not with Me [ siding and believing with Me] is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me [ engage in My interest], scatters.

24 When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it roams through waterless places in search [ of a place] of rest (release, refreshment, ease); and finding none it says, I will go back to my house from which I came.

25 And when it arrives, it finds [the place ] swept and put in order and furnished and decorated.

26 And it goes and brings other spirits, seven [ of them], more evil than itself, and they enter in, settle down, and dwell there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first.

27 Now it occurred that as He was saying these things, a certain woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed (happy and [b]to be envied) is the womb that bore You and the breasts that You sucked!

28 But He said, Blessed (happy and [c]to be envied) rather are those who hear the Word of God and obey and practice it!

29 Now as the crowds were [ increasingly] thronging Him, He began to say, This present generation is a wicked one; it seeks and demands a sign (miracle), but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah [the prophet ].

30 For [just ] as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will also the Son of Man be [a sign ] to this age and generation.

31 The queen of the South will arise in the judgment with the people of this age and generation and condemn them; for she came from the ends of the [ inhabited] earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and notice, [d]here is more than Solomon.

32 The men of Nineveh will appear as witnesses at the judgment with this generation and will condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, [e]here is more than Jonah.

33 No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or crypt or under a bushel measure, but on a lampstand, that those who are coming in may see the light.

34 Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye ([f]your conscience) is sound and fulfilling its office, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound and is not fulfilling its office, your body is full of darkness.

35 Be careful, therefore, that the light that is in you is not darkness.

36 If then your entire body is illuminated, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright [ with light], as when a lamp with its bright rays gives you light.

37 Now while Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to take dinner with him, so He entered and reclined at table.

38 The Pharisee noticed and was astonished [to see ] that Jesus did not first wash before dinner.

39 But the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside you yourselves are full of greed and robbery and extortion and malice and wickedness.

40 You senseless (foolish, stupid) ones [acting without reflection or intelligence ]! Did not He Who made the outside make the inside also?

41 But [dedicate your inner self and ] give as donations to the poor of those things which are within [of inward righteousness ] and behold, everything is purified and clean for you.

You see from the above among other insights that you would have received that you are either in one realm or another depending on what you allow to settle in to you because you are a container of thoughts. The thoughts you allow grows and attracts whatever operates in that realm or kingdom – There are rulers in those realms and the piece of real estate in which they express themselves is in the realm of your mind. You are the real estate for either kingdoms – Through the gift of your free will, you can grant access at will to the one you allow to grow within you. Stopped giving the kingdom of darkness the upper hand in your life.

Remember, you are a precious piece of real estate – The scripture says in Psalm 139:14 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.

You control that precious piece of real estate by your thought processes – The scripture says in Proverbs 23:7 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost ]. Read what Jesus said in Mark 7:15 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)15 There is not [even ] one thing outside a man which by going into him can pollute and defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him and make him unhallowed and unclean.

So, you and i give authority and title deed of the entire piece of real estate which is us to the one who is dominant in relationship (unbroken fellowship) in your thought processes with the ruler of that kingdom – The scripture gives explicit account of this in

Romans 6:11-17 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)11 Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [ living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.

12 Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions.

13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and [a]faculties ] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual ] life, and your bodily members [and [b]faculties ] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness.

14 For sin shall not [any longer ] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [ as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy ].

15 What then [are we to conclude ]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God’s favor and mercy? Certainly not!

16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)?

17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.

I hope the expansion to my quote last week as inspired by the Holy Spirit in me would have given clarity to understanding the quote. I pray that this insight will bring a paradigm shift in your dialogue and relationship with our heavenly Father.

The above piece just flowed out this evening as I am writing this now. I know the Holy Spirit wanted somebody to be delivered today and always..Shalom!

Now, I go into the topic today – The Secret of Dropping the Foundation of our Limited Theology and Understanding of God in the things He Will Tell Us, Show Us, Ask Us or Cause Us to experience or do in our work and walk with Him + Let’s Explore 8 Mind-boggling Instructions in the Secret Place God gave some of His children to carry out that will explode Your understanding of Him to Zillion different directions and why He does that! – Stay Positive, Stay Focused and Stay Strong in God!

In the cause of the week, the Holy Spirit took me through a journey which I will present here today about our limited misconception of God by our finite minds. The more we draw close to God, the less we know about Him and the more the hunger intensifies to know more and the process continues. Indeed, our God is a hiding God as noted in Isaiah 45:15 and it takes a king to search out a matter of which we all Christians are before our God who loves to conceal a matter for His glory. Proverbs 25:2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.

God is permitted to feed only hungry people, people who pursue, chase after God with hot pursuit just like we learnt last week with Jesus and three of His disciples – Peter, James and John. Each time, He unfolds more of mysteries to them – Not like the other 9 disciples. I pray that you will become a hungry soldier of Christ today if you are not yet one. You must of necessity be hungry for God. You must get to a point and saying, “ I will not leave except you talk to me or bless me or show me or heal me or deliver me”. Whatever be the case that ills you today, get hungry and He will give you an answer that will calm you beyond compare. Even if He doesn’t or decide to take His time, you will have peace that knows no boundary –

Read Jeremiah 29:13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity ] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

My wife and I were reflecting on some of these very awesome scriptures this week which we have seen before but it never made any serious meaning as it is now in the light of our limited understanding of Him. We can never, in this limited time and space gain full understanding of the ways of God. Moses talks to God face to face but made this petition before God …

Exodus 33:12-23 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)12 Moses said to the Lord, See, You say to me, Bring up this people, but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You said, I know you by name and you have also found favor in My sight.

13 Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You [ progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, perceiving and recognizing and understanding more strongly and clearly] and that I may find favor in Your sight. And [ Lord, do] consider that this nation is Your people.

14 And the Lord said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.

15 And Moses said to the Lord, If Your Presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here!

16 For by what shall it be known that I and Your people have found favor in Your sight? Is it not in Your going with us so that we are distinguished, I and Your people, from all the other people upon the face of the earth?

17 And the Lord said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have asked, for you have found favor, loving-kindness, and mercy in My sight and I know you personally and by name.

18 And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory.

19 And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, The Lord, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness.

20 But, He said, You can not see My face, for no man shall see Me and live.

21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place beside Me, and you shall stand upon the rock,

22 And while My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.

23 Then I will take away My hand and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.

I told you before that our work and walk with the Lord in this part of eternity is a secret place relationship with Him by our continuous choosing. He knows the end from the beginning. He knows why He has placed us for a time such as this. He knows what He will cause us to experience – Pleasant, Good, unpleasant, bad and ugly because He allows it so that we can become useful vessels in expanding His kingdom here on earth. He channels and connects people and places to us so we can be ministers to them as His ambassadors. Read ..

2 Corinthians 1:4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)4 Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.

– 2 Corinthians 1:4; Mark 9:49

Take heart dear child of God as you go through your training to representing Him well. You might not understand why all hell is breaking loose around you, but I can assure you, by my limited experiences in my work and walk with Him that He will channel you to where you can get help so that when you are out, you can become a channel for others – This is the basis of kingdom networking powered by the Holy Spirit.

You cannot be relevant as salt and light without fire. Read what Jesus said point blank to His disciples in Mark 9:49 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)49 For everyone shall be salted with fire. – Very short and direct to the point – there is no other way to kingdom relevance.

In the secret place, He will tell you things that your mind will not be able to fathom it. He will instruct you to do things that does not make intelligence sense. He will take you through a process of kingdom relevance that you will think He hates you and wants you destroyed… That is His way of training so that you can sit where those who are hurting are sitting and you will have a word that is powered from the depth of your heart to the intended recipient.

Let’s explore 8 Mind-boggling Instructions in the Secret Place God gave some of His children to carry out that will explode Your understanding of Him to Zillion different directions and why He does that! Stay Positive, Stay Focused and Stay Strong in God!

  1. If God tells you in the secret place to go marry a harlot, will you?

That was what He did to Prophet Hosea in Hosea 1 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea son of Beeri in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash king of Israel.

2 When the Lord first spoke with and through Hosea, the Lord said to him, Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of [her ] harlotry, for the land commits great whoredom by departing from the Lord.

3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she became pregnant and bore him a son.

4 And the Lord said to him, Call his name Jezreel or God-sows, for yet a little while and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel and visit the punishment for it upon the house of Jehu, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.

5 And on that day I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.

6 And [Gomer ] conceived again and bore a daughter. And the Lord said to Hosea, Call her name Lo-Ruhamah or Not-pitied, for I will no more have love, pity, and mercy on the house of Israel, that I should in any way pardon them.

7 But I will have love, pity, and mercy on the house of Judah and will deliver them by the Lord their God and will [a]not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by equipment of war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.

8 Now when [Gomer ] had weaned Lo-Ruhamah [Not-pitied ], she became pregnant [again ] and bore a son.

9 And the Lord said, Call his name Lo-Ammi [Not-my-people for you are not My people and I am not your God.

10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered; and instead of it being said to them, You are not My people, it shall be said to them, Sons of the Living God!

11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together and appoint themselves one head, and they shall go up out of the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel [for the spiritually reborn Israel, a divine offspring, the people whom the Lord has blessed. ]

Why did He do that? For a sign to His rebellious children

God did this to a righteous prophet Hosea to send a message to His rebellious children of Israel about His plans

2) If God told you to bring your wife who has committed adultery back home and still on the field sleeping with everyone, would you, even at a price?

God told Prophet Hosea to do that. read the account in Hosea 3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

3 Then said the Lord to me, Go again, love [the same ] woman [Gomer ] who is beloved of a paramour and is an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins [used in the sacrificial feasts in idol worship ].

2 So I bought her for [a]fifteen pieces of silver and a homer and a half of barley [ the price of a slave].

3 And I said to her, You shall be [ betrothed] to me for many days; you shall not play the harlot and you shall not belong to another man. So will I also be to you [ until you have proved your loyalty to me and our marital relations may be resumed].

4 For the children of Israel shall dwell and sit deprived many days, without king or prince, without sacrifice or [ idolatrous] pillar, and without ephod [ a garment worn by priests when seeking divine counsel] or teraphim (household gods).

5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return and seek the Lord their God, [ inquiring of and requiring Him] and [from the line of ] David, their King [of kings ]; and they shall come in [anxious ] fear to the Lord and to His goodness and His good things in the latter days.

Why did He allow this – As a sign to a His rebellious children that His love never wanes and He will come for you

3) If God told you in the secret place to go naked for 3 years, show yourself in public and barefooted, would you?

God told Prophet Isaiah, the one that prophesied about the messiah to do this. Read account in

Isaiah 20 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

20 In the year that the Tartan [ Assyrian commander in chief] came to Ashdod in Philistia, sent by Sargon king of Assyria, he fought against Ashdod and took it.

2 At that time the Lord spoke by Isaiah son of Amoz, saying, Go, loose the sackcloth from off your loins and take your shoes off your feet. And he had done so, walking around stripped [ to his loincloth] and barefoot.

3 And the Lord said, As My servant Isaiah has walked [ comparatively] naked and barefoot for three years, as a sign and forewarning concerning Egypt and concerning Cush (Ethiopia),

4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptian captives and the Ethiopian exiles, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with buttocks uncovered—to the shame of Egypt.

5 And they shall be dismayed and confounded because of Ethiopia their hope and expectation and Egypt their glory and boast.

6 And the inhabitants of this coastland [ the Israelites and their neighbors] will say in that day, See! This is what comes to those in whom we trusted and hoped, to whom we fled for help to deliver us from the king of Assyria! But we, how shall we escape [ captivity and exile]?

Why did He permit this: For a sign to an unbelieving nation of Egypt and Ethiopia showing them the judgment that was to come upon them in the future… 3 years naked, barefooted – a prophet of God..Think about that a moment.

4) If God told you to lie down for 430 days without moving except after completing 390 days on one side and use human dung to prepare your meal in that position, and put a limit on the amount of food you can eat each day, would you agree?

God did this to prophet Ezekiel, a priest of the line of Zadok,. Read this in Ezekiel 4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

4 And you, son of man, take a tile and lay it before you, and make upon it a drawing of a city, even Jerusalem.

2 And put siege works against it, build a siege wall against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it and set battering rams against it round about.

3 Moreover, take a plate of iron and place it for an iron wall between you and the city; and set your face toward it and it shall be besieged, and you shall press the siege against it. This is a sign to the house of Israel.

4 Then [bound as you are ] lie upon your left [and north ] side to bear symbolically the iniquity of the house of the ten tribes of Israel upon that side. According to the number of days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity.

5 For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, 390 days [representing 390 years ]; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6 And when you have fulfilled the days for Israel, lie again, but on your right [and south ] side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have appointed you one day for each year.

7 Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and your arm shall be uncovered [ready for battle ], and you shall prophesy against [the city ].

8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon you and you shall not turn yourself from one side to another till you have ended the days of your siege.

9 Also take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them into one vessel and make bread of them. According to the number of the days that you shall lie upon your side, 390 days you shall eat of it.

10 And the food you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels or a full half pound a day, to be eaten at a fixed time each day.

11 You shall drink water by measure also, about one quart or the sixth part of a hin; you shall drink at a fixed time each day.

12 And you shall eat your food as barley cakes and you shall bake it with human dung as fuel in the sight of the people.

13 And the Lord said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations to whom I will drive them.

14 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself or is torn in pieces; neither did there ever come abominable flesh into my mouth.

15 Then He said to me, Behold, I will let you use cow’s dung instead of human dung, and you shall prepare your food with it.

16 Moreover, He said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread [by which life is supported ] in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread rationed by weight and with fearfulness, and they shall drink water rationed by measure and with dismay (silent, speechless grief caused by the impending starvation),

17 In order that they may lack bread and water and look at one another in dismay and waste away [in their punishment ] for their iniquity.

Why did God do this?As a sign to His rebellious children – To carry the burden and punished, each day represents a year of judgment in a foreign land. And a sign to His rebellious people of the futility in trusting in a foreign power when He jusges them, no one will be able to help.

5) If God told you to have a crazy Haircut and do some crazy things with the hair in three parts, will you obey?

God told Ezekiel to do this read the account and what it means .. Ezekiel 5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

5 And you, son of man [Ezekiel ], take a sharp sword and use it as a barber’s razor and shave your head and your beard. Then take balances for weighing and divide the hair into three parts.

2 You shall burn one part with fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled; and you shall take a second part and strike with the sword round about it; and a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.

3 You shall also take from these a small number of hairs and bind them in the skirts of your robe.

4 And of these again take some hairs and cast them into the midst of the fire and burn them in the fire; from there a fire shall come forth into all the house of Israel.

5 Thus says the Lord God: This is Jerusalem; in the center of the nations I have set her, and countries are round about her.

6 And she has changed and rebelled against My ordinances more wickedly than the [heathen ] nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are round about her; for [Israel ] rejected My ordinances, and as for My statutes, they have not walked in them.

7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because you were more turbulent and raged [against Me ] more than the nations that are round about you and have not walked in My statutes, neither have kept My ordinances, nor have done according to the ordinances [concerning ] the nations that are round about you;

8 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, even I, am against you, and I will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.

9 And because of all your abominations, I will do in you that which I have not done and the like of which I will never do again.

10 Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments on you and all who are left of you I will scatter to all the winds.

11 Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, surely because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore will I also diminish you and withdraw My eye that it shall not spare you. And I also will have no pity.

12 And a third of you shall die of pestilence and be consumed by famine in the midst of you; a third shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third to all the winds and will draw out a sword after them.

13 Thus shall My anger be spent and I will cause My wrath toward them to rest and I will be eased and comforted. And they shall know, understand, and realize that I the Lord have spoken in My zeal, when I have accomplished My wrath upon them.

14 Moreover, I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are round about you and in the sight of all who pass by.

15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and a horror and an astonishment to the [heathen ] nations around you when I shall execute judgments upon you in anger and in wrath and in furious chastisements and rebukes—I the Lord have spoken it.

16 When I shall loose against them the evil arrows of hunger that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, then I will increase the famine upon you and will break your staff of bread.

17 And I will send upon you hunger and wild beasts, and they shall bereave you [of your loved ones ]; and pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword upon you. I the Lord have spoken it.

Why did He do this? – As a sign of judgment to His rebellious children. We must be careful of how we work and work with the Lord in our Christian race because He is watching us and He will not allow us to go unpunished when we are unrepentant

6) If God told you to pray against your nation, pronouncing judgment and curses against Gods rebellious children in that nation and the people in that nation as a whole, would you?

God told Ezekiel to curse Israel . Read the account in Ezekiel 6 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

6 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them,

3 And say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and the hills, to the river ravines and the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places [of idolatrous worship ],

4 And your altars shall be made desolate and your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces, and I will cast down your slain before your idols.

5 And I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste and the high places shall be made desolate, that your altars may bear their guilt and be laid waste and made desolate, your idols may be broken and destroyed, your sun-images may be hewn down, and your handiworks may be wiped away and blotted out.

7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall [a]know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.

8 Yet will I leave some of you alive. When you have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries,

9 Then those of you who escape shall [earnestly ] remember Me among the nations to which they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken by their lewdness and have Myself broken their wanton heart which has departed from Me and blinded their eyes which turn after their idols wantonly; and they shall be loathsome in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

10 And they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord. I have not said in vain that I would bring this evil calamity [ in punishment] upon them.

11 Thus says the Lord God: Strike with your fist, stamp with your foot, and say, Alas! over all the vile abominations of the house of Israel for which [ Israel] shall fall by sword, by famine, and by pestilence.

12 He who is far off shall die of the pestilence, and he that is near shall fall by the sword, and he who remains and is preserved shall die by the famine. Thus will I accomplish My wrath upon them.

13 Then shall you know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord, when their slain shall lie among their idols round about their altars upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, under every green tree, and under every thickly leafed oak, the places where they were accustomed to offer sweet incense to all their idols.

14 And I will stretch out My hand upon them and make the land desolate and waste, yes, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblah [ a Moabite city], throughout all their dwelling places; and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.

Why did God permit this? – As judgment against His rebellious people using the mouth of a prophet to exercise this authority and He is still doing that today

7) If God told you in your dialogue with Him that He will kill your wife and you should not mourn, will you accept it? Will you still serve Him after that?

God did this to Prophet Ezekiel – Read the account in Ezekiel 24:16-27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

16 Son of man [Ezekiel ], behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes [your wife ] at a single stroke. Yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears flow.

17 Sigh and groan, but not aloud [be silent ]; make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban upon your head and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your beard or eat the bread of mourners [furnished by others ].

18 So I spoke to the people in the morning and in the evening my wife died, and I did the next morning as I was commanded.

19 And the people said to me, Will you not tell us what these things are supposed to mean to us, that you are acting as you do?

20 Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,

21 Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will profane My sanctuary—[in which you take ] pride as your strength, the desire of your eyes, and the pity and sympathy of your soul [that you would spare with your life ]; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.

22 And you shall do as I [Ezekiel ] have done; you shall not cover your beard nor eat the bread of mourning [brought to you by others],

23 And your turbans shall be upon your heads and your shoes upon your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but you shall pine away for your iniquities (your guilt) and sigh and groan to one another.

24 Thus Ezekiel is to you a sign; according to all that he has done you shall do. And when this [destruction of the temple ] comes, you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord God [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service ].

25 And you, son of man, on the day when I take from them [My temple ] their strength and their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the delight of their eyes and their hearts’ chief desire, and also [take ] their sons and their daughters—

26 On that day an escaped fugitive shall come to you to cause you to hear of it [the destruction of Jerusalem ] with your own ears.

27 In that day your mouth shall be open to him who has escaped, and you shall speak and be no more speechless, and you shall be a sign to them and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.

Why did He do this? – God did this for a sign to His rebellious people exactly what will happen to them and used the prophet life as an example of what was to take place.

8) If God told you that the only way He can deliver you is for Him to send His Son – Jesus Christ, a sinless Son to die for you so that He can redeem you because He has done everything but you will not give in, will you believe it? Will you accept it?

God did it to His own Son, His righteous Son, so that He can deliver mankind.. lets read the accounts why He did this:

Isaiah 53:5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain ] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded ] Him we are healed and made whole.

Isaiah 61:1-3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual ] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [ the year of His favor] [a]and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 To grant [ consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive ] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [ lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Luke 11:29-32 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

29 Now as the crowds were [increasingly ] thronging Him, He began to say, This present generation is a wicked one; it seeks and demands a sign (miracle), but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah [the prophet ].

30 For [just ] as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will also the Son of Man be [a sign] to this age and generation.

31 The queen of the South will arise in the judgment with the people of this age and generation and condemn them; for she came from the ends of the [inhabited ] earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and notice, [a]here is more than Solomon.

32 The men of Nineveh will appear as witnesses at the judgment with this generation and will condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, [b]here is more than Jonah.

Take note of this last text. This is the clincher. This is the peck upon which all the others hangs..You get this wrong, you get it wrong everywhere.. Lets go

John 3:1-21 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

3 Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (a leader, an authority) among the Jews,

2 Who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know and are certain that You have come from God [as ] a Teacher; for no one can do these signs (these wonderworks, these miracles—and produce the proofs) that You do unless God is with him.

3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb again and be born?

5 Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [[a]even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever ] enter the kingdom of God.

6 What is born of [from ] the flesh is flesh [ of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not [ do not be surprised, astonished] at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above).

8 The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered by asking, How can all this be possible?

10 Jesus replied, Are you the teacher of Israel, and yet do not know nor understand these things? [Are they strange to you? ]

11 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, We speak only of what we know [we know absolutely what we are talking about ]; we have actually seen what we are testifying to [we were eyewitnesses of it ]. And still you do not receive our testimony [you reject and refuse our evidence—that of Myself and of all those who are born of the Spirit ].

12 If I have told you of things that happen right here on the earth and yet none of you believes Me, how can you believe (trust Me, adhere to Me, rely on Me) if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And yet no one has ever gone up to heaven, but there is One Who has come down from heaven—the Son of Man [Himself ], [b]Who is (dwells, has His home) in heaven.

14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [ so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross ],

15 In order that everyone who believes in Him [ who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may [c]not perish, but have eternal life and [actually ] live forever!

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even ] gave up His only begotten ([d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

18 He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him ] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation ]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence ] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name. ]

19 The [basis of the ] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil.

20 For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved.

21 But he who practices truth [who does what is right ] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him ].

Why did God have to do this? For a number of reasons – A sign to the unbelieving world. A deliverance for those who belief and accept Him as the door to access God Himself. He is right now making intercession for us.. See some insight here which will also help us understand why we go through what we go through so that we can become trees of righteousness to bring many to Him… We are priest and kings in God’s house.

Hebrews 7:24-28 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

24 But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever.

25 Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.

26 [Here is ] the High Priest [ perfectly adapted] to our needs, as was fitting—holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners, and exalted higher than the heavens.

27 He has no day by day necessity, as [do each of these other ] high priests, to offer sacrifice first of all for his own [personal ] sins and then for those of the people, because He [met all the requirements ] once for all when He brought Himself [as a sacrifice ] which He offered up.

28 For the Law sets up men in their weakness [frail, sinful, dying human beings ] as high priests, but the word of [God’s ] oath, which [was spoken later ] after the institution of the Law, [chooses and appoints as priest One Whose appointment is complete and permanent ], a Son Who has been made perfect forever.

Romans 8:26-39 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

26 So too the [Holy ] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy ] Spirit [what His intent is ], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God ] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.

28 We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor ] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan ] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His ] design and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [b]aware and [c]loved beforehand ], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them ] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness ], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [ raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? ]

32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other ] things?

33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [ that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]

34 Who is there to condemn [us ]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [d]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things [e]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,

39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And if you have not started your own journey by giving your life to Jesus, do this today asking for forgiveness of your sins, repenting, believing that He is the Son of God and that He came to deliver mankind and right now you submit to Him totally – Spirit, Soul and Body, making Him the Lord of your life..See how your growth will be evident to all and the peace which passes all understanding will flood your life like nothing you ever experienced before.

Our Father and our God, We thank You for the privilege we have to gain access to your presence 24/7. Thank You for reminding us again to chase after You more than our necessary food. We make commitment today to so do. We also are open to obey every instruction you give us in the secret place. We will never box You, Lord God. We are committed to go through every test, examination and practicals that You bring our way Lord God, we ask that You release Your grace upon us to run the race with vigor in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we declare that we are ready and will continue to prepare others that come our way to be ready as well. We receive grace to spend time with you in the secret place anywhere, anyplace and anytime so that we will reflect Your glory to a dying and decaying world in Jesus name, amen.

Now, experience all round-success this week and beyond as You are led by your closest friend – The Holy Spirit!
