Note that when God introduced Himself to Moses in Exodus 3,He did not says, “I Was” (past tense). He said, “I AM” (fresh and present tense). To really know Him as “I AM’, you must know Him in the present (not in the past). But you cannot know Him in the present (as “I AM”, unless you come to Him everyday through HIS WORD, PRAYER and WORSHIP. This is what OUR DAILY MANNA helps to provide for you and your family, through its organized DAILY PRACTICAL LIFE STORIES, inspirational bible expositions, breakthrough prayer points, songs and strong prophetic declarations
Every time Wendy walks past the blacksmith shop, she wonders why blacksmiths do not allow the iron to cool before beating it into shape. They always beat iron into shape when it is red hot. In her opinion, it is dangerous, tedious and could cause the blacksmith harm. So one day as she was walking past the shop, she noticed that the blacksmith had just pulled out red hot iron and was beating it as usual. “Hello Sir” she shouted greetings to the blacksmith. ’’Hello Wendy” the blacksmith replied without turning his face away from what he was doing. “But why not wait until the iron cools down before you beat it into shape? I think it is very hot and dangerous to do what you are doing while the iron is still red hot”. The man laughed and replied saying, “Iron is best beaten into shape when it is red hot. If you allow it cool down, it will not yield the result you want”. Beloved of God, as a young child, this time is the best time to draw closer to God so that he can cause His will to come to pass in your life. If you wait till you are old before drawing close to Him, it might be too late then.
