THE GLORIOUS ARREST OF A FAMILY – Paperback By LAMBERT EZE OKAFOR

Dear Friends, Paul, writing to the Galatians in order to defend the genuineness of his message and spare them from false teaching told them the story of his conscription into Christianity by God Himself so that he might preach the Good News to the Gentiles (Galatians 1). Also telling King Agrippa about his conversion and how God commanded him to ‘tell others what you have seen of me today, and what I will show you in the future,’ (Acts 26:16) Paul added, “And so, King Agrippa, I did not disobey the vision I had from Heaven.” (Acts 26:19)

Likewise, in this book Lambert Okafor is passionately telling you the story of his conscription on May 28th 1989 (and later his family) into the army of the living God to be an Evangelist, a Preacher, a Prophet, so that he can go everywhere and tell every person what he has seen, “for it is true.”

The Bible teaches us about those who have been called or appointed to proclaim the message of God. They are divinely chosen spokesmen who received and related God’s message, whether in oral, visual, or written form.

The message can come to them through dreams, visions, angels, nature, miracles, and an audible voice. They are variously called Prophets, Seers, Watchmen, men of God, Messengers and Servants of the Lord. They were called from different vocations. For example, Jeremiah and Ezekiel were priests; Isaiah and Daniel were of Royal blood while Amos was a shepherd. This means that God does not discriminate persons in His choice of messengers. Professionals, Scholars, Farmers, Traders, Labourers, Young and Old, Males and Females are all within the ambit of His choice. When He calls He equips in order to counteract any excuses. Moses, Jeremiah and even Jonah had their ‘genuine’ excuses to give and yet God used them successfully for His purpose. God continues to call and send His messengers today to proclaim the Good News of Salvation. I am impressed that Lambert did not hesitate for long before he took up the challenge of proclaiming what he saw and experienced.

You will notice that this message is not aggressive or arrogant, he did not display that air of holier-than- thou attitude often displayed by some preachers. Rather it is persuasive, appealing, loving, down to earth and urgent. The interpretation of the SEVEN MYSTERIES which he attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit is interesting. Please read that you may understand.
