In book of Hebrew 12:1-3, we read the following

‘’Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Also in the book of Philippians 3:14-16 we read this account ‘’Like a man running a race, I try hard to reach the line so that I will receive the prize. Because we belong to Christ Jesus, God is calling us to receive this prize that he has for us in heaven. All of us who are grown-up Christians should feel this way. And if you do not think this way, God will show you the right way. But no matter how far we have gone, we must keep on going that way. And let us do it together, having the same things in mind.’’

This book The Great Race part 1 consist of four tracts namely : faith and believe in God; The real man, body soul and spirit; Revelatory insight into purpose and do it well yourself gives some cardinal points in our Christian walk without which it is impossible to run a successful race. This book , the first part in a series of books presents to the reader key insights that would run a successful Christian race.
