Unveiling the True Daughter of Sarah (Second Edition) by Dr. Mrs. Ekaete Ime Ettang FOREWORD By: Dr. Mrs. Sade Akanni Gboko, Nigeria
It is sad to see that today we are in a world where many women have lost their identity as women. Worse still, there are many of the female gender who have never known who they are, not to talk of losing it. The result is that they get confused, disoriented, and dislocated. This has led to a progressive degradation of womanhood in places. The devil who is an exploiter, takes advantage of such women and exploits their ignorance for his own use. As such, many young women are being used today to satisfy men’s diverse pleasures. As if that is not enough, she is given all kinds of bad labels such as “the woe of men”, the necessary evil” as if God who made this creature called “woman” has no specific purposes for making her.
Furthermore, because of this ignorance, Satan has continued to make some women to be so godless, as to become pioneers of wicked ideologies and doctrines of devils about womanhood, in order to plunge many more women into darkness and a more degrading lifestyle.
Ekaete’s book is coming at the right time in our generation, as an instruction and admonition to women especially the young ones. The author deals with the search for identity, which is fast becoming a critical matter especially among the youth in our generation. She also went ahead to point out the way, the right way for a woman to discover her true identity in life.
Sister Ekaete went on to warn the unsuspecting young woman of the traps that Satan and his agents have continued to set along their path. The book particularly sheds the light of God’s word on the path of the young to enable them to avoid those traps and also see the right direction to follow in life. She gave personal testimonies about God’s help in this regard.
In this book, the author also points the attention of women to the life of Sarah in the Bible as an example of a godly woman, whose life God commanded us to look to. Rather than follow the examples of evil women, look to Sarah especially as much as you see her life portraying the life of Christ.
Trusting God to breathe on it the breath of life, this material will give hope and promote godliness among the youth. It will also minister caution to erring older women.
Sister Ekaete has been a friend and co-laborer in ministering among women for some years. She has a peculiar burden for the youth and this book is evidence of that. It is highly recommended to every young woman and could be used as a tool in discipling them to become the women God wants them to be.
