The word meditation comes from the Latin word meditārī, which has a range of meanings including to reflect on, to study and to practice. Verse 1

Blessed is that whose ways are blameless, who work accordingly to the law of the lord

Make me a person of integrity, patient in learning to live like Christ, not a slanderer, living a pious life, emulating the character of Christ. Make me undefiled, pure, and pleasing to God

Verse 2

Blessed are those who keep his status

Help me to obey your law and seek you wholeheartedly. Teach me to obey your testimonies and observe your testimonies and decrees, instructions and law.

Let my desire, my views agree with everything the lord wants

Let my way be his way and may I surrender to his will

Let me learn obedience, teach me to listen and spend time   seeking to know you, meditating and internalizing your words
